Jet lag is a tired, run down feeling that often make you feel like you are sick and is caused by your body’s reaction to a change in time zones.
When you travel to a time zone significantly different to the one you are used to, sometimes you body has a hard time dealing with new sleeping, eating and activity patterns.
Try and get as much sleep as possible while on your flight and upon arrival, adjust to local time immediately by eating and sleeping at the same time the locals do – this should help relieve the effects of jet-lag and help you get over it faster.
Best tip I can think of for avoiding Jet Lag is to drink loads of water and start getting your body onto your detination’s time zone if possible. sleep lots on the plane and walk around as much as possible.
Tips to avoid Jetlag-Don’t eat a lot in the days leading up to your flight, sleep well in the days to departure.Once on the plane drink lots of water, avoid alcohol, sleep, excercise and don’t forget to set your watch to your destination time zone!
