This is about as touristy as Sydney gets, but it’s well worth the visit. Circular Quay is located between the city center and the Harbour. From here you can take in the iconic Sydney Opera House and even get a little more up close with a 60 minute tour of the building or just relax at the Opera Bar underneath the buildings ‘sails’.
The opposite side of Circular Quay is home to the famous Rocks district of the city. Avoid the overpriced trinkets in the markets here and get lost in the maze of streets filled with fantasic bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants filled with atmosphere – a great place for lunch or dinner and only a stones throw from the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
