Located on the Pacific West Coast of Mexico, Zihuatanejo is the main town of the region and one of the the biggest reason people travel to this part of Mexico is the beautiful beach of Ixtapa.

The most famous and visited beach in what is known as the Mexican Riviera is the Playa La Ropa – home to sun worshipers, great restaurants, coffee shops and bars to go along with it’s palm-tree lined beaches – this is what a beach vacation should be!

Like it’s East Coast cousin Cancun, Ixtapa was specifically designed as a beach resort and as such has a great layout, facilities and resort vibe about it to go along with is post card views and sensational sunsets.

The beaches around Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo are also a great place to do a little Horseback riding tour while the crystal clear and usually calm waters are perfect for swimming and kayaking.
