Long Island is an island in the Whitsunday Islands along the East Coast of Australia.
Long Island Resort is either a stop, starting or finishing point for many Contiki tours travelling along the east coast of Australia. Long Island is also the standard option if you choose not to take the Sailing the Whisundays option offered to most tours travelling through the region.

Be wary of gladiators outside the colosseum. They don't take photos for free and can be quite agressive about their payment. Also don't be fooled into taking an unlicensed guided tour of the Colosseum either....
This is a FANTASTIC tour for a city person. The shopping, dining, nightlife, and cultural opportunities are limitless as each city seems to outshine the last.
Make sure you try currywurst in Germany. It's basically a hot dog with tomato sauce (ketchup) and curry powder. Tastes brilliant and only costs 1 or 2 Euro.
