Do not travel with ONLY a credit card and/or debit card. Why? Cards can become demagnetized or lost….you should have some cash or traveler's checks to fall back on in case of an unfortunate inconvenience involving your plastic.
Always sign up for the group photo's while on ANY of the tours Contiki offers. When you get home you'll be glad that you did - it will be nice to have a professional photo of your whole group that you can hang up on the wall or put in a photo album.
I did this excursion on my tour and I loved it. I was really afraid of heights but if you stand in the middle of the basket and look over rather than looking down you'll be fine.
