Me and my friend are heading on three tours starting August 14th. We start with the Med. Highlights from August 15-28. Then its Rome to Athens tour from August 27-September 5th. Finally end with the Greek Island Hopping tour from September 5th-September 17th! So excited! Countdown begins!

I have been reading some tour guide books about what to pack. The Rick Steve’s book says that most women in Europe don’t wear shorts/shorter skirts. Because he is older, I am not sure how outdated this statement is.

Does anyone have any advice who has been to Europe recently? Do younger women wear shorts/shorter skirts?

A couple questions regarding this: 1) Do all major airports have these VAT booths? I will be flying home to the States from Munich, so just curious. 2)If you are visiting multiple countries can you file all of your refund forms at your final destination? 3) How do these forms work if you are paying in cash?
