Fraser Island

Whale Watching (Aug-Oct only) (A$95)

Take a half-day cruise on Hervey Bay and view the southern humpback whales returning south to Antarctica after calving in the northern waters. Whale watching boats cruise amongst the huge mammals allowing you to view from close range while they rest and play. Available from August to October only.

The best way to explore the world's largest sand island is by 4-wheel drive vehicle.
